Mass Transmit, the developer of Email Transmit technology, is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information on our EmailTransmit.com Web site.
The following discloses our information gathering and usage practices for the Email Transmit website.
Collection of your Personal Information
Mass Transmit will not sell, share, or rent the information input into the Email Transmit system by our users. Additionally, we will make every effort to protect this data from other sources by incorporating layers of software security and hardware security.
Use of your Personal Information
Mass Transmit and our registered users use your personal information to operate the Email Transmit site and to provide the email services you have requested. Your personal data is owned by the Email Transmit Registered User and will only be available for use by the Registered User. It will not be used by Email Transmit or any additional Email Transmit Registered Users.
Mass Transmit may disclose your Personal Information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Mass Transmit; Mass Transmit's Email Transmit web site, or the users of Email Transmit; or, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Email Transmit, the site or the public.
Personally identifiable information collected by Email Transmit may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which Mass Transmit or its affiliates, subsidiaries or agents maintain facilities.
Sharing your Personal Information with Other Companies
Mass Transmit will never share your personal information with other companies without your consent. Email Transmit is not an email list rental service and we do not rent or sell any email addresses or other contact information collected or stored on the Email Transmit site.
Control of your Personal Information
The customer has the ability to opt-out of future mailings at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in each mailing. In most cases, this unsubscribe information follows the content of the email message.
Email Transmit may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our service. Email Transmit may also track recipients' operating system, email client, browser types and versions to help us understand our recipients email receiving capabilities. This allows us to view trends and create a better service for our users and their respective recipients.
Email Transmit uses pixel graphic tags and other methods to gather information about the emails we send to our registered users and recipients of emails sent by our registered users to others. Pixel graphic tags are tiny graphic files that are included in our HTML-encoded email messages. When such a message is opened in an HTML-capable email program, the recipient's computer will access Email Transmit's servers to retrieve the pixel graphic tag file, allowing Email Transmit to record and store information such as email address, date and time the recipient viewed the email message, if the recipient's email program is capable of receiving HTML, and other logging information. Email Transmit uses this information to optimize delivery of future messages to specific recipients and to provide information to registered users with respect to emails they send through the Email Transmit System.
If you have chosen to receive information from a company or individual users of Email Transmit and then at a later date decide you do not wish to continue receiving such information, you can unsubscribe by following the instructions in the e-mail.
If you have difficulty unsubscribing, please reply to the email you are having issues with or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org to receive further assistance. Please inform us as to which email list by which sender you wish to be removed.
Email Transmit's conversion tracking script places a temporary cookie on the recipient's computer. The cookie records sufficient information for Email Transmit to identify the recipients' actions in completing a conversion such as a purchase or opt-in. The cookie expires after 30 days.
A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to utilize the Email Transmit services.
Email Transmit provides the functionality for users to opt-in and unsubscribe from receiving communications from the users of Email Transmit. This is made available during sign-up for user e-mail lists and in all e-mail messages delivered from Email Transmit via the UPDATE YOUR PROFILE and UNSUBSCRIBE links. Once a user unsubscribes, the user will no longer receive future communications from that Email Transmit user. If a recipient is being sent messages by multiple Email Transmit users, the recipient will need to unsubscribe from the messages from each user.
The Email Transmit site and the sent email messages contain links to other sites. Mass Transmit is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites. We recommend that you review the privacy policies of these sites and determine if that site protects your privacy in a responsible manner and to your satisfaction.
